PHP Web Developer
We are seeking a PHP Web Developer to work on our company's platforms. This role is expected to bring an eye for design along with practical PHP web development abilities. You will work closely with our graphic designers, content marketers, and other internal stakeholders to bring to life to our brand, services and collateral.
You will work on a variety of projects with varying difficulty. You will be expected to be able to work on several projects at the same time and therefore expected to be flexible and adaptable with your time. We are looking for proactive people that want to show they can make a difference and keep up to date with the latest technology and trends.
Required Skill Set
Diploma/Degree in Web Development or IT or Final year student in applicable field of study preferable.
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
PHP Development Skills
CakePHP
C#, SQL and ASP.Net
Your Responsibilities
Develop and implement front-end web code and design standards and writing clean, semantic code.
Development and maintenance of our current platforms developed in PHP and CAKE PHP 3. We reqiure work on one of our platforms to become mobile friednly while there are changes and development needed on our other two platforms.
Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
Create and optimize our web project management, hitting all deadlines and improving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality web development.
Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers.
Skills & Competencies
Relevant degree or equivalent working experience.
Background with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experieince in PHP and CAKE PHP 3 is non-negotiable.
Experience Building User Interfaces and Prototypes From Wireframes and Designs.
Personal interest in staying up-to-date on the latest trends, including agile methodology and emerging best practices in the UI community.
Own transport
Experience with CRM tools are highly advantageous
Graphic design skills are highly advantageous
